Merlot Reserve
The grapes destined for the production of our Merlot Reserve grow in the vineyard called “Maqina” in the very heart of Kosovo’s main wine region, in the hills north from Rahovec. A powerful, complex wine with strong tannins, and a dark ruby-red and violet colour. The nose has slight nuances of violets and forest berries. Full-bodied on the palate, light nuances of vanilla and tobacco, with a velvety finish.

VINIFICATION
Fermentation takes place in stainless steel barrels for 14 days with continuous agitation of the marc head at a controlled fermentation temperature. Maturation in oak barrels produces a refined taste and aroma.

Ideal with dark meats, game, game birds and hard cheeses.
